Alarm interfaces
The ILS Alarm Interface provides an isolated connection between the lock and a remotely monitored alarm system. This allows you to send a duress alarm if you are being attacked.
Key features and benefits include:
- Allows you to enter a code which will open the lock, but also activate an undetectable alarm. This will be picked up at a central station, alerting police or security guards to the incident.
- Detects if persons are tampering with the alarm system. Any attempt to disconnect the alarm will immediately send a tamper alarm to the central station and simultaneously send a signal to the lock preventing it from being opened until the tamper is repaired.
- Facilitates locking of the safe from a remote position, i.e. a user could put a block on the safe being opened from a central control office.
- Independently powered by the alarm system and not the lock.
This interface can be used with the ILS Time Delay and Multifunctional locks.
