Time delay locks

Our Time Delay Locks add a further layer of security to our Electronic Combination Locks. The addition of a time delay means that the lock will not open for a specified time period following the entry of the correct access code.

Programmable time delay from 1 minute to 60 minutes.
User-friendly, simple interface and operation.
Easily retrofitted to most existing safes, minimising installation costs.
Powered by 4 AA batteries which can be changed externally. If power to the lock is removed, it will not open and no configuration information is lost.
The lock may be linked to a duress alarm, so that in the event of a hold-up, staff may send a silent alarm to the authorities, without raising the suspicions of the robber.
Up to 10 opening codes are available, including a Cash In Transit code. A master code controls the allocation of all opening codes.
A Time Lock function is available for night time or weekend locking.
The lock can be linked to an alarm input, in order to block remote opening.
The lock is easy to retrofit on to most existing safes and in choosing our lock you can be confident that high installation costs can be avoided.
The lock may be installed with either a latch or deadbolt.
Our locks are supplied and installed from stock, reducing time to installation.
All locks are covered by a 12 month warranty, covering both labour and parts.

Customers have the option of two different interfaces for the time delay lock, one with an LED display, and the other with an LCD display. The LCD option offers the following additional benefits over the LED option:

Improved ease-of-use, as users can see details of what is being entered on-screen.
Increased security and safety of staff, as in the event of a hold up the robber can see how long is left before the safe will open. This confirms that the staff are not providing false information and will hopefully calm the situation.
